These terms are the agreement between you and the operator of Chronovore CCG ("we", "us"). By creating an account or playing, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.

1. The game

Chronovore CCG is a free-to-play collectible card game played in the browser. You can play without paying. Some optional items can be bought with real money.

2. Your account

• You must give accurate details when you sign up and keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
• If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission to use the game and to make any purchase.
• One person, one account per sign-up. Do not sell, trade, share, or transfer accounts.
• Tell us promptly if you think someone else has used your account.

3. Conduct

Play fair and treat other players with respect. You agree not to:

• cheat, use bots or scripts, exploit bugs, or interfere with matches, the servers, or other players' accounts;
• harass, threaten, or abuse anyone, or use offensive or impersonating usernames or display names;
• impersonate Chronovore staff;
• sell or trade accounts, cards, packs, Gold, or other virtual items for real money or anything outside the game;
• break the law or anyone else's rights while using the game.

If you find a bug or exploit, please report it rather than use it.

4. Virtual items

Cards, packs, Gold, card fragments, card backs, and other in-game items are virtual items. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use them in the game. You do not own them, they have no cash value, and they cannot be exchanged for money or anything of value outside the game. In-game exchanges the game offers (for example, buying or selling a pack for Gold) are game features, not refunds or payments. We may change, rebalance, or retire virtual items and game features.

5. Purchases (card backs and packs)

• Some card backs and packs can be bought with real money. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details. Stripe's own terms and privacy policy also apply to your payment.
• Prices are shown before you pay. Your item is added to your account once the payment is confirmed.
• A purchase gives you a licence to the virtual item as described in section 4. It does not buy any ownership interest in the game.

6. Refunds

Purchases of digital goods are delivered right away and are non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law where you live. If a purchase did not arrive or you were charged in error, contact us and we will put it right.

7. Suspension and termination

You can stop playing at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other players or the game at risk, or is involved in fraud or chargebacks. Where reasonable we will tell you why. If an account is closed for breaking these terms, its virtual items, including purchased ones, are lost and are not refunded, except where the law requires otherwise. We may also change or end the game. If we shut the game down for good, we will try to give reasonable notice.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version and date at the top of this page show which version is current. If a change is significant we will try to give notice, for example on the site, and may ask you to accept the new version. If you keep playing after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.

9. Disclaimers

The game is provided "as is" and "as available". We do our best to keep it running, but we do not promise it will always be available, error-free, or secure, or that progress or items will never be lost.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for lost data, profits, or virtual items. Our total liability to you for any claim about the game is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Intellectual property

The game, its cards, art, text, and software belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, sell, or redistribute them except as the game allows.

12. Governing law

This agreement is governed by solely the laws of the state of New Hampshire. You consent to the sole governing law of the State of New Hampshire, and you consent to the sole jurisdiction of Hillsborough County, New Hampshire. You waive sovereign immunity for any interaction with us which you have performed on behalf of a foreign government, regulatory authority, or law enforcement agency.
